Discover Summer is a traditional summer day camp where campers will participate in a variety of fun activities focused on making connections and creating memories to last a lifetime. Caring counselors will lead campers in pre-planned leisure activities in arts, crafts, sports, and games to develop physical, social, and emotional skills such as teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.

Campers must bring a bag lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink each day. Sunscreen and bug spray are also highly recommended as some of the day will be spent outdoors. (Ages 6–12 as of June 17, 2024). Camp hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Before care is optional from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for an additional cost.

$205 per week – (*Weeks 1 and 3 offered at a reduced rate of $165 due to the holiday)
+$15 per week for before Care (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) *NON-REFUNDABLE*

WAITLIST – A waitlist is available for weeks that are full. If an opening becomes available, you will be contacted directly via phone and email. You will have 2 business days to complete registration and submit full payment. Openings will be filled in the order in which they are received.

PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE – A non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit of $50 per week is required at the time of registration. Final payment must be made no later than May 31, 2024, for Week 1 through week 4 and June 28, 2024, for week 5 through week 8. Deposits count towards the total price of camp. Failure to pay the outstanding balance due by the final payment deadlines will be denied attendance and forfeiture of the deposit.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS - Sibling Discounts ($25) are available for the second and each subsequent sibling(s). To receive the discount, siblings must live in the same household and register for the same program/session at the same time. Summer Days is a fun place for individuals with disabilities, providing a traditional camp experience that fosters camper accomplishments, friendships, and a great time with memories of a fabulous summer. This summer let's have some fun with an action-packed camp full of enriching and structured leisure activities to include arts & crafts, games, music, team building, nature, and so much more to challenge and engage through hands-on fun! Summer Days has been designed with a small group size and low camper-to-staff ratio.

Let's sell lemonade! SPARKS BUSINESS ACADEMY will have Young campers become "lemonade entrepreneurs" and learn how to make yummy lemonade and earn money selling it! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, campers have fun all week while developing business savvy. As a showcase event, campers launch the lemonade stand on Friday to raise money for a charity they select!

Future Chefs cooking camp is a safe, fun, and interactive cooking class. Campers will prepare different snacks, meals, international cuisines, and desserts. Some camp afternoon sessions end up in competitions that make cooking fun and exciting. The main goal of going to a cooking camp is to have fun, make new friends, and acquire valuable kitchen experience. Kids will have fun preparing meals and eating them as well.

Dive into the ultimate marine adventure with New Logic Marine Science Camp 2024. The camp focuses on the preservation of the marine ecosystem through active hands-on learning. Let's get crafty! Young entrepreneurs will create handmade items to "sell" to other "vendors" at their very own craft fair! In this SPARKS BUSINESS ACADEMY program, campers will learn about craft fairs and the ingenuity and creativity of the small business entrepreneur. They will produce goods, and learn to create appealing advertising and displays. Other related topics will be discussed such as counting currency, budgeting, profit margins, buying and selling and assessing the quality of goods.

For the future team General Manger, sports team owner, ESPN analyst or coach, this unique program helps students view the world of sports from a business perspective. SPARKS BUSINESS ACADEMY students actively discuss and analyze different topics, including players contracts, mock drafts, college sports, endorsements, the Nike vs. Under Armour competition, the Super Bowl, e-sports and more!

This fun program by SPARKS BUSINESS ACADEMY helps campers develop a global mindset and build international awareness early in life! Explore cultural differences across countries, geography games, famous landmarks, world currencies, current global events, the role of international institutions like the UN, and more. Campers role-play as diplomats and come up with solutions to key global problems like hunger, poverty and pollution.

Are you ready to innovate? Get your creative juices flowing in this project-based program, where you will identify the need for an invention, think on your feet, and create structures and solutions. SPARKS BUSINESS ACADEMY will have Campers also learn about famous inventors and internalize how recent innovations improve our lives.

Let’s Play Sports is perfect to get your preschooler out of the house in an active and engaging environment. Using age-appropriate games Queen Anne’s County Parks & Recreation staff will engage campers in a variety of sports and gym activities. Campers will develop gross motor skills & hand-eye coordination, build fitness & muscle coordination, learn sports fundamentals, but most of all, HAVE FUN! Tennis shoes and comfortable clothing are required each day. Please bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
